ESG Governors Mentorship Group is a practical African community supporting people building careers in sustainability, governance, and climate action.
Challenge
The platform had to explain a broad community offer, including webinars, clinics, jobs, grants, fellowships, mentorship, and peer support, without diluting the movement’s purpose.
Discovery
The work identified the needs of an early-career ESG audience, the difference between EGMG and theoretical programmes, and the community features most likely to build belonging.
Strategy
Position EGMG as a movement with practical outcomes, organise benefits by career need, and use participation pathways to convert broad interest into community action.
Design Process
A bold Africa-focused visual language, layered community moments, confident typography, and modular programme cards establish ambition and momentum.
Development Process
Responsive programme modules, semantic content structure, repeated community actions, and lightweight interaction patterns support the build.

- Monthly webinars and Q&A clinics
- Jobs, grants, and fellowship alerts
- Mentorship pods and peer network
- Leadership-lab positioning
What the finished experience changes
EGMG receives a coherent digital front door that explains the community’s practical value and Africa-first perspective.
What this project reinforced
Community websites need to make both the shared identity and the individual member benefit visible.
